Abstract: Ultra compact dwarfs (UCDs) are galaxies which have such small physical sizes (≪ 100pc) that even the nearest examples appear unresolved in ground based imaging. Their formation is an interesting puzzle in the context of galaxy evolution or transformation in the cluster environment. Here we report on some further observational results on these objects.
