Abstract: Although classical Cepheids are well known to be radial pulsators with relatively stable light curves, the light curve instabilities can become rather severe in Cepheids of very long period. For Cepheids with periods less than 100 days, light curve shape is generally sufficiently stable that the necessary phase shifts can be calculated given sufficient data, allowing the calculation of BW radii which can calibrate the PL relation for these luminous objects.
