Abstract: The preliminary results of the SN 2002dj observational campaign carried out by the European Supernova Collaboration (ESC) are presented. In particular the analysis is focused on the comparison between SN 2002dj and SN 2002bo, which was the first ESC target. These supernovae show remarkable similarities both from the photometric and spectroscopic point of view. The first results of the synthetic spectral analysis are also presented.
