Abstract: A presence or absence of a nucleus is considered for a sample of galaxies limited by a distance, not by a flux. For ~300 nearest galaxies situated within a distance of 7 Mpc a classification of their central regions is based on large- scale images derived with Hubble Space Telescope as well with the 6-m and other large ground-based telescopes. A fraction of the nucleated galaxies is considered as a function of their luminosity, morphological type and other global parameters.
