Abstract: SWAS, the Submillimeter Wave Astronomy Satellite mission, has been in successful flight operations with a high observing efficiency (>80%) since January 1999. Its daily data reduction pipeline, created by integrating parts of existing software tools and building from scratch a set of special-purpose codes, systematically monitors, calibrates, and archives the continuous data stream from the satellite. It has proven to be a reliable, flexible, and efficient system in support of the mission's active scientific programs.
