Paper: Single-Dish Radio Telescopes of the World
Volume: 278, NAIC-NRAO School on Single-dish Radio Astronomy: Techniques and Applications
Page: 493
Authors: Salter, C. J.
Abstract: A compendium of over fifty of the world 's radio telescopes is presented. Tables are given containing the location, size, operational parameters, operating institution, public availability, and web address for each. It is hoped that this will help astronomers in selecting ``instruments of choice'' for their investigations. The reader is cautioned concerning completeness of the compendium, accuracy of some entries, the ephemeral nature of much of the information listed, and is encouraged to approach institutions for collaboration even if their telescopes are not marked here as regularly available to outside users.
