Abstract: We present the results of a study of the inner kiloparsec of NGC 1068 in Brgamma (λ = 2.165 microns), Pabeta (λ = 1.28 microns), Hα (λ = 0.6563 microns), [O iii] (λ = 0.5007 microns), and Hβ (λ = 0.484 microns). We use these data to construct an extinction map. This extinction map indicates a ring of dust interior to the nuclear ring of star formation. Also, we compare the [O iii] and Hβ data to look for correlations between metallicity or ionization level and extinction.
