Abstract: The variations of active prominence and surrounding corona were observed with the chromospheric telescope and Lyot type coronagraph of Abastumani Astrophysical observatory at October 10 and 11, 1978. Some physical characteristics of eruptive prominences are investigated. The behaviour of the surrounding coronal formations are studied. The distribution of the green and red coronal lines intensities and half widths with position angles and heights above the solar disk are presented. The variations of some coronal formations with changes of active prominence are noticed.
