Abstract: Detailed evolutionary models of the LBV stage of very massive stars computed with a dynamical code will be presented. Results for nucleosynthesis, stability and pulsations are discussed. Modern input-physics (opacities, nuclear reaction rates, accretion scenario, semiconvection, overshooting etc.) and updated numerical methods (grid distribution, artificial viscosity etc.) are applied. Several kinds of pulsations and instabilities are present in the models. The possible mechanisms behind these, as well as their implications for mass loss and LBV outbursts will be discussed.
