Abstract: We report work in progress on a self-consistent dynamical model of the transiting extrasolar planet system HD209458. We are attempting to simultaneously model the photometric eclipses and spectroscopic radial velocity observations. We have obtained a good fit to the light curves and radial velocity curve, and in particular, the "Rossiter effect" distortion of the radial velocities during transit is reproduced.
