Abstract: Our star, the main sequence G2V dwarf called Sol, possesses a disk of miniature worlds and debris around it. This structure is commonly known as the Kuiper Belt. Here I provide a brief overview of what is known about the Kuiper Belt, emphasizing aspects that may be instructive to researchers interested in extrasolar main sequence disks.
