Abstract: Cepheid variables in Galactic open clusters remain important in locally establishing the zero points of the Cepheid PL and PLC relations. This contributed paper briefly describes an ongoing Northern Hemisphere CCD photometric survey of a number of these clusters, and presents initial results for one of the program clusters, NGC 7790 which contains three Cepheids. A complementary CCD survey of Southern Cepheid clusters has been undertaken by Walker and collaborators (1987 and refs therein).
