Abstract: An increasing number of active galactic nuclei (AGN) exhibit broad, double-peaked Balmer emission lines that originate in the outer accretion disk of the AGN. The line profiles have been observed to vary on timescales of several months to years. Over the past decade, our group has monitored a set of 20 double-peaked emitters. Here we characterize the variability patterns of several of the objects in our study and compare with some simple models.
