Abstract: We present the simultaneous multiwavelength variability properties of the TeV blazar PKS 2155–304 obtained with the optical-UV and X-ray instruments on-board XMM-Newton. The UV variations globally follow the X-ray ones. However, compared with the X-ray light curve, the UV light curve is much less “structured,” and the UV variability amplitude is substantially smaller. The UV-X-ray spectra become flatter with increasing fluxes, and the UV and X-ray variations do not show detectable lags.
