Abstract: 21-cm absorption measurements towards radio sources can be used to study the properties of neutral atomic gas associated with these sources. Here we present the results of our study to examine the distribution and kinematics of H i properties for compact (i.e. sub-galactic-sized) radio sources, and a new 21-cm absorption detected towards the core of the radio galaxy 3C452.
