Abstract: We present here results of magnetic field measurements for a group of five classical Be stars obtained using low-resolution spectropolarimetry with FORS 1 at the VLT. We were not able to diagnose a magnetic field in excess of 100G in any of the studied Be stars. In addition, we show the new magnetic field measurements of the very young early-type object HD 190073 of spectral type A2III-B9IVep+sh with a strong wind and a dense circumstellar disk.
