Abstract: The prototype Fiber Arrayed Solar Optical Telescope (FASOT) is constructed to demonstrate spectro-imaging-polarimetry of multiple lines, as well as the feasibility of the application of polarimetric optic switching to Integral Field Units (IFUs) in order to improve the polarimetric sensitivity. These two capabilities form the main features of FASOT, while the application determines the distribution format of the IFUs. In this paper, we describe the prototype FASOT design, adjustment, and results from the prototype run.
