Abstract:
The INTEGRAL Operations Centre (ISOC) opened the ISOC Science Data Archive (ISDA) to external users in July 2005. It offers an alternative and complementary method of accessing INTEGRAL data to the established INTEGRAL Science Data Centre (ISDC) archive.
The ISDA has been developed using the same browser technology as that developed by ESA for the XMM-Newton Science Archive (XSA) and the ISO Data Archive (IDA). Astronomers who have accessed data via either of these archives will find the ISDA familiar and easy to use.
The data and products of a γ-ray mission, such as INTEGRAL, are rather different from an X-ray mission such as XMM-Newton. However, it was found to be a relatively straight-forward task to adopt the XSA/IDA archive systems for use in the ISDA.
