Abstract: Cosmological shocks formed during the course of large scale structure formation of the universe generate vorticity. This vorticity then cascades at smaller scales to induce turbulence. That turbulence in turn can amplify weak seed magnetic fields of any origin and produce the intergalactic magnetic fields. In this paper, we briefly describe the intergalactic turbulence and magnetic fields resulting from this scenario.
