Abstract: We present for the first time a detailed non-spherical modelling of dark matter halos on the basis of a careful analysis of our state-of-the art N-body simulations. The fitting formulae presented here form a complete and accurate description of the triaxial density profiles of halos in Cold Dark Matter models. The current description of the dark halos is very useful for interpreting many observations related to the non-sphericity effects of halos, including the weak and strong lens statistics, the orbital evolution of galactic satellites and triaxiality of galactic halos, the non-linear clustering of dark matter, and X-ray and Sunyaev-Zel'dovich morphologies of rich clusters.
