Abstract: A new globular cluster age and [Fe/H] calibration system using a modified Strömgren photometry system is applied to dwarf ellipticals in the Fornax cluster. We find the dE's in Fornax have a mean [Fe/H] of -1.0, ranging from -1.5 to -0.4. There is no evidence of a mass-metallicity relation, such as found for bright ellipticals. The mean age of the Fornax dE's is 9+/-1 Gyr, implying that stars in dwarfs form much later than the stars in more massive ellipticals.
