Abstract: Bougaziçi University, Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute and Astronomical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences organized collaborative expeditions for the August 11, 1999 total solar eclipse in Turkey and in Hungary. In these expeditions some five experiments were carried out associated with the white-light inner and outer corona, coronal polarization and high resolution imaging of helmety streamers. Here we present what we could do through out the programs.
