Abstract: We have used the NICMOS camera on Hubble Space Telescope to image the proto-planetary nebula OH231.8+4.2 in 5 filters from 1.1 to 2.05 μm. In this paper we summarize our preliminary findings from analysis of the images and color maps derived from them. The nebular lobes show very thin, collimated jets with complex knots and braids. The central nebula is extremely red and shows a point-like feature which we believe to be the central star.
