Abstract: We use the results of chemical evolution models to calculate the radial distributions of the Mg2 and Fe52 spectral indices in spiral galaxy disks. In particular, we try to reproduce the behavior of these indices in the galaxy NGC 4303. We use the calculated star formation history and the abundance time evolution to obtain the integrated mass transformed into stars during every time step and their corresponding stellar mean abundances and ages. Thus, we consider every radial region of the disk as the combination of multiple stellar populations with different ages and abundances.
