Abstract: The IRAF tasks PSFMEASURE and STARFOCUS measure the point-spread function (PSF) of stellar images and provide sophisticated graphics to analyze the measurements. The two tasks are related with the task STARFOCUS having additional capabilities for analyzing variations in the PSF as a function of telescope focus and providing a best focus estimate. The PSF measurements include an enclosed flux profile, a radius or full width at half maximum, and an ellipticity. The algorithms for making these measurements are described in a separate paper. This paper describes the functionality of these tasks such as the interactive image display input and the graphical analysis features. A demonstration of the software is available NOAO/IRAF poster.
