This volume presents the proceedings of an international conference devoted to the role of astronomy in culture and other fields of human activity and development. In the modern era, astronomy plays a leading role in the formation and development of inter- and multi-disciplinary sciences. Astronomy has reached high level of development, and recently new disciplines have been created, such as Astrochemistry, Astrobiology, Astroinformatics, and Astrolinguistics. Archaeoastronomy plays an important role in culture and in the heritage of nations; chronologies and calendars were created on the basis of astronomical knowledge. Cultural Astronomy also plays an important role in the development of scientific tourism and scientific journalism. The conference was aimed at the development of astronomy-related interdisciplinary sciences and building collaborations in the countries of the European and Asian regions. This volume contains the best current knowledge in various areas of astronomy and culture by experts from different professions.
