| Abstract: |
This science case advocates for preparatory experimental work that would improve the ROI of target
prioritization for Habitable Worlds Observatory (HWO). In addition to astronomical/observational considerations, candidate target exoplanets should be geochemically habitable to life as we know it. If this additional
parameter is not considered, we believe it is likely that observation time will be spent on targets that are not
good places to look for life. |
