| Abstract: |
A Science Platform offers sophisticated tools for analyzing and managing
large and complex datasets local to the data source. These platforms enable users and projects to apply tailored data processing methods, fostering collaboration by enabling the sharing of results and workflows among researchers. Developing such platforms and guaranteeing their interoperability for the advancement of data science poses substantial technological challenges. The focus of this BoF session was to examine the state of the art and future prospects of Science Platform technologies involving data centers, computing facilities, and specific initiatives in astrophysics. |
