| Abstract: |
A new task, WMOSAIC, to be installed in STSDAS will produce a mosaic of the four groups that comprise the full WF/PC field of view. This task corrects for geometric distortions in each chip as well as rotations, offsets, and scale differences among the chips. WMOSAIC does a more careful delineation of the boundaries of each group by using the Kelsall spots data. This procedure minimizes the unsightly "cross" caused by the pyramid shadows between groups. |
