Abstract: Recent non-LTE wind models are applied to the wind-blown bubble S308 surrounding the WN5 star HD 50896, and the results are discussed. Lines in H I, He I, forbidden N II, forbidden O II, forbidden O III, and forbidden Ne III are detected. Spectra are shown and their parameters are described. An effective temperature for the star in the range 55,000-80,000 K is estimated.
