Abstract: We present results of UBV RI photometry of Mrk 335 in the period 1995–2004. Mrk 335 has a large amplitude of variability, varying by about 1.1, 0.9 and 0.7 mag in the U,B and V bands respectively and by about 0.3 mag in both R and I bands. The Structure Function (SF) has a logarithmic slope b=0.63±0.03 on time scales from 3 to 2000 days and is very similar to the SF of Mrk 6. The UBV RI spectral energy distribution is typical of Seyfert 1 galaxies. It was found that the fluxes in the V,R and I bands lag the flux in the U band by about 4, 8, and 8 days, respectively.
