| Abstract: |
A Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) session was held about the available and desirable mechanisms to publish software in refereed journals. The goal for the community is to publish and publicize software efforts and get publication and citation credit, supplementing software distribution sites and online documentation. A panel composed of representatives of various journals that publish articles about software discussed with the audience their current policies and procedures, what they are looking for in software papers, and how the community can participate in the publishing process. |
