Abstract: Smartphones are incredibly prevalent among today's college students and incredibly valued by them. This situation provides a unique opportunity for educators to forge connections by delivering interactive content to students on the devices that they so strongly value. This session discussed early versions of tools and methods for delivering interactive content on student smartphones in the college introductory astronomy classroom and our experiences with them. The tools include HTML5 simulations and ranking tasks targeted for delivery on smartphones. All content discussed below is publicly available on the University of Nebraska Astronomy Education site https://astro.unl.edu.
