Abstract: Join panelists for this interactive discussion about how the last one and a half years has changed how we all teach Astro 101. Panelists will reflect on changes they have implemented as well as success and lessons learned. Topics covered may include attendance policies, the use of high-stakes exams, experiments with standards-based and mastery grading, and a focus on transferable skills vs. content knowledge. The community of Astro 101 instructors is invited to share their experiences as we consider as a community how to embrace successful changes and move on as instructors through the pandemic.
