Abstract: Big data management challenge is one of the forefront topics of science and technology. At the heart of big data management lies the data preservation and curation process. These consists on recovering lost or harm data, and transforming it into data curated by following specified standards and make it available for the end users. The Italian Center for Astronomical Archive (IA2) developed software tools to handle data coming from different geographically distributed telescopes. The collected data are sometimes harm or corrupted. This could have a catastrophic impact on data discovery. For that, here we present an interactive GUI (Graphic User Interface) called Nc_Admin to addresses the problem. It is based on standard tools to help users to correct the loss of meta description and the drift from format standard or from agreed compliance (i.e. Virtual Observatory compliance).
