Abstract: The origin of the S-stars is one of the most debated topics on our Galactic center. Most of the scenarios that have been proposed so far require timescales >100 Myr for the eccentricity of the S-stars to evolve and match the observed one, which is in tension with their estimated age of ∼15 Myr. Here we propose a novel scenario that can reconcile ages and eccentricities of the B-type S-stars, and even explain the orbital properties of the so-called G-objects.
