| Abstract: |
With a grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the Astronomical Society of the Pacific developed a series of professional development workshops for educators utilizing the Galileoscope to teach about light and optics, and how telescopes work. Through a series of in-person and online workshops, 250 educators were engaged, and 6,000 Galileoscopes distributed for use in their local programs. |
