Abstract: We summarize recent work on MHD modeling of solar wind and interplanetary coronal mass ejection (ICME) evolution from the inner to the outer heliosphere. First, we describe the multi-fluid MHD model, which takes into account the effects of pickup ions, that we use to propagate the solar wind to the outer heliosphere. Then we use observations from spacecraft distributed throughout the heliosphere to trace ICMEs and shocks they drive from the inner heliosphere to the location of Voyager 2.
