Abstract: In this work, the influence of different types of interstellar medium inhomogeneity on the evolution of a supernova remnant is investigated. In particular, the interaction of supernova remnant shock wave with a gas cloud is examined. The impact of the magnetic field in the interstellar medium and phenomenon of the supernova remnant motion relative to the surrounding medium are also discussed. The comparison of numerical results with both analytical solution for the strong explosion problem and observed images of real supernova remnants are presented in this study.
