Abstract: Stacking radio continuum surveys yields the median flux density for a class of objects. In some applications, it can be used to investigate scaling relations that provide additional astrophysical information. Challenges related to angular resolution and position errors are discussed, along with mitigating strategies. These are discussed in the context of stacking radio flux densities of spiral galaxies at three radio frequencies. Finally, a brief discussion of the potential role of data archives in stacking future wide-band radio surveys is offered.
