Abstract: We develop a numerical model of the corotating interaction regions which form as a consequence of the fast and slow wind interaction. The numerical model is verified against similar simulations performed by Pizzo and a good agreement with his results are found. Finally, we show preliminary results of propagating corotating interaction regions into the inner heliosheath.
