Abstract: The high spectral resolution and sensitivity of FUSE has allowed the building of a new stellar library in the far-ultraviolet between 1003 and 1183Å. The C III λ1176 and P V λλ1118, 1128 lines are the most sensitive indicators of massive stars in this spectral range. The library was implemented in the synthesis code LavalSB to study the stellar line profiles of young stellar populations. Here we present the characteristics (age, metallicity, stellar mass, extinction) of the young stellar populations in four starburst galaxies, NGC7714, NGC3690, M83, and NGC3310, observed with FUSE.
