Abstract: A research library aware of high-speed reference services is essential for researchers. Using optimum resources, such as databases available on the web to speed up research, the librarian has to be proactive. The librarian should explore all available resources on the web. In the field of astronomy and astrophysics, most of the resources available are free to use. The librarian plays a crucial role in providing information about these resources to the researcher. This paper is a compilation of the most popular resources available on the Internet and provides information about who can use these resources, what these resources are, and how to use these resources.
