Abstract: We used a novel photometric system to monitor the blazar S5 0716 + 714 simultaneously in there optical wavelengths for seven nights in 2006 December. The object was relatively quiescent in this period with no strong internight variations, but showed clear intranight variations. Cross correlation analysis of the light curves in different wavelengths revealed a time lag between them with a high confidence level. This time lag has been predicted in the internal shock model for the variability of blazar, but has only been observed in X- and EUV/UV wavelengths before.
