Abstract: We present the CO emission line observations for 19 infraredluminous QSOs (IR QSOs) in the local universe(z < 0.37), using the IRAM 30m telescope. The detections (≥ 4 σ levels) of 15 IR QSOs are reported here. Adding five previously published detections, we find that the derived CO luminosities of 24 IR QSOs are a few times of 109 to 1010 Ll, one order of magnitude higher than those of optically selected QSOs. For all detected IR QSOs, the average CO line width is ΔvFWHM ~ 250 ± 80 km s−1. Thus the majority of galaxies hosting IR QSOs are quite rich in molecular gas.
