Abstract: The SB9 is a collection of more than three thousand orbits of SB. It is found that around 5% of these orbits are assumed to be circularized, which is an assumption based on the method of Lucy and Sweeney (1971). Recently, the HERCULES spectrograph was used to study the orbits of eleven southern spectroscopic binary systems. It is possible to detect a low eccentricity in HD194215 with possible r.m.s. scatter as low as ≈ 50 m s-1.
