Abstract: We describe the results of the observations of the 23 July 2002 2B/X4.8 proton flare impulsive phase at the Irkutsk Large Solar Vacuum Telescope (LSVT) using the spectropolarimetric mode. 18 regions of the flare in the Hα line were observed with high spatial, spectroscopic and time resolution. In the six processed flare regions we obtained the evidence of impact linear polarization in the Hα line center. We noted that the general structure of the polarization profiles during the observation of a single flare region is kept in time. On the other hand, polarization across flare ribbons changes significantly. In all the flare regions we observed a deviation of the polarization peak position from the location of maximum intensity.
