Abstract: This paper presents a method of simulation with stochastic differential equations to solve the transport equation of solar energetic particle propagation in 3-dimensional interplanetary magnetic field. It includes essentially all particle transport mechanisms: e.g., cross-field diffusion, pitch angle diffusion, focusing and adiabatic cooling. The results of flux calculation reproduce the effect of reservoir that is often observed in the inner heliosphere. The formation of particle reservoir does not require a diffusion barrier in the outer heliosphere. Detailed study of particle behavior during transport also confirms that adiabatic cooling is the most dominant mechanism for the dissipation of radiation from the inner heliosphere.
