Abstract: The Swift-XRT discovered a 35 s oscillation in the soft X-ray emission from RS Oph during the 2006 outburst. The modulation first appeared shortly after the start of the Super Soft Source phase (day 32.82) and remained visible until the soft X-ray emission began its decline (day 65.92), though it was absent at some times during this interval. In the initial stages the oscillation period was not stable and was multi-periodic at times. We suggest nuclear burning driven pulsations are the most likely cause of the oscillation.
