Abstract: We present the latest version of the Spectrum Services (Dobos et al., 2004) for the Virtual Observatory with improved search capabilities. Beside the already available cone search, advanced search and redshift search we introduce the ‘Region Search’, ‘SkyServer Search’ and ‘Similar Spectrum Search’ options which apply advanced techniques to query spectral data. Spectrum Services consist of databases of spectroscopic data from different surveys and theoretical model as well as spectrum processing applications. The databases can be queried using a convenient web interface while programmers can incorporate data and the utilities into their own program by calling the Web Service interface or using the Virtual Observatory standard data access protocols. Spectrum Services are already connected with some other Virtual Observatory tools like Footprint Service (Budavári et al., 2007) or SkyServer
